To start the day, the children were all given a classic Victorian name and they then had to recite the strict Victorian school rules.
All of their written work was completed with chalk on black card and they practised writing their new names with calligraphy pens. They learnt traditional Victorian playground games such as Hopscotch, Oranges and Lemons and Dusty Bluebells.
